Playing That Most Dubious Of Argumentative Fallacies

Anyway, this illustration is to be used in an article that one of my friends is writing in concern of recent arguments made by dubious political pundits comparing the actions of the current presidential administration to an infamous administration of Germany’s past. Odds are you’re probably familiar with the icons therein, and that familiarity makes it a very easy tool to lean a pundit’s argument one way or the other, usually in the negative.
Afterall, what group of people could be more villified than the Nazis? For good reason of course, whether historical or fictional, unless you’re willing to dive into more Tolkien landscapes, you probably won’t find a better example of just plain unlikable in the history of mankind. But is it a stretch to compare those guys to our president and his current cabinet? I don’t know, I’ll have to read my friends article and see if his insight is particularly illuminating on the matter. Speaking of which, I should e-mail him the picture right now!
