I’ve blown ahead on the story proper as far as Garage Raja is concerned. So much so that I don’t have any scripts to work on.
How am I going to still my anxious drawing hand from stifling boredom whilst I wait for the next script, you ask? It’s a good thing I have a job in freelance illustration, it’s given me the opportunity to work on, of all things, more comics! Now, not necessarily my favorite subject, this project is definitely a public service announcement piece, any child of the 80’s would know what I’m getting at here.
There’s a challenge in this, though. I’m doing something with this job that I wouldn’t otherwise do if I hadn’t taken it up, it’s pushing me to make unique decisions and that’s the kind of thing that will only improve my efforts in drawing Garage Raja.
On top of that is a somewhat secret project featuring a character that you yourselves will eventually meet in the coming months. It also involves a lot of robots. A lot of them. If Bladerunner and Lethal Weapon had a docile lovechild, it would be something vaguely like what I’m working on at the moment. Vaguely.
